2 weeks ago my boyfriend and I watched the movie "And i love you so" at home, starring Bea Alonzo and Sam Milby . We watched it though CJ doesn't really want watch it after all. He's not a big fan of Tagalog mushy movies but as it is, he has no choice or else i wouldn't watch District 9 with him after this ( hehe).
Now, since I'm here doing nothing i think it's time for me to create my first ever movie review on my blog ( more to follow :P)

Unfortunately, we weren't able to watch it in a movie house (even in greenbelt). I heard about the issue that star cinema had with SM supermalls that's why it was not shown to any SM malls during it's screening days. Now I'm thinking that maybe this movie didn't earn a lot since SM malls are everywhere and tons of movie goers are really into watching films at SM outlets. I'm just wondering why it was not available in Ayala malls as well. I was told that it should be available in Ayala malls. That day I was in Greenbelt, this film was just on it's 2nd week.DO you think they stopped playing this movie even after a week only? Too bad for this film. Well, I think my BF prayed for it because he told before checking this out at Greenbelt that he doesn't want to watch it in a movie house. Why? he said it's very embarassing ( what the...!) What's wrong with tagalog movie?!

Anyways, I honestly like the plot of the movie. The trailer initially tempted me to watch it. It seems to me that the scriptwriter was influenced by the film "sassy girl" in a way because the plot is "almost" the same. But somehow, the characters are totally different.

In the part where the character of Bea is longing for his husband ( Derek), i think she should have act more depressed and sad. Her mourning for his husband was just shown in a way that she was just crying on her bed. I remember watching Windstruck ( This korean movie is like a prequel of the movie sassy girl ) that movie really made me cry because after her BF died, she almost killed her self and was seen in a most desperate and hurtful condition. I watched Windstruck over and over again and it never failed to give me tears. hmm.. why I'm telling so much about windstruck? because honestly I expected this movie from Bea to be like that, very tearful.

In total, this movie is nice, a good drama to watch. The movie evolved more about how Sam and Bea fell in love rather than focusing on Bea's love and marriage with Derek. I just think they should have lengthen the scene where Bea cries over his dead Husband and how depressed she was. For me losing someone you love deeply is really unbearable and so exruciating. Bottomline? more tears!!! lolz

Imma sucker for drama talaga... (obvious ba!?)
